RASCAL is being Fostered in Tennessee.

Hello - My name is RASCAL

I am beginning to understand what being a family pet is all about. I get my neck itches scratched when I'm good or just because. That's when I jump up in my foster mom's lap and cuddle my nose against her hand or neck.

I'm learning, just like I'm learning to SIT when my foster mom asks, or before she puts my leash on to go outside. I don't even need to be asked to SIT when we come back in so she can take the leash off again.

I love the smells outside and enjoy being outside so much; I sometimes prance along in front of my foster mom. She lets me smell the roses, and anything else I come across! Storms don't bother me. I just want to look out the window and see what's happening. It brings in so many new smells.

I love play fighting with my new girlfriend, although she is much bigger than me. My foster mom doesn't have any cats, so I don't know about them yet. I never knew what toys were before, I really like them now!

I'm okay when my foster mom puts me in my crate for nighty –nite or a nap when she has to go away for a little while. I sleep all night and don't cry in the morning to go out until I hear my foster mom get up.

I hope someone out there sees my picture and reads my story and falls in love with me.

We do not know much about this young boy earlier days. On March 2nd, Rascal was rescued from a farm.

This young boy was immediately taken to the Vet, weighed 16 pounds, (his approximate date of birth is March 7, 2011) checked for heartworms (heartworm negative), neutered, shots and the works. What we found out about this young boy; he was timid, did not know how to go up and down the stairs or play with toys. (See update from Foster Mom April 14th).

After a few days of love, food and attention he started to come out of his shell.

ON MARCH 9TH, THE YOUNG BOY WENT TO HIS FOSTER HOME.
“I am his foster mom. Since he didn't have a name, I have decided to call him RASCAL. He is very playful, once he had gotten used to his new home-away-from-home. It didn't take him long to adjust to Meesha, my dog. They started playing a few hours after bringing him home.”

UPDATE FROM RASCAL'S FOSTER MOM APRIL 14TH
Rascal is doing great. He's very friendly around other people, but very protective when it comes to strange animals. He likes to ride in the car but doesn’t like getting into the car. RASCAL is still working on STAY, but he's doing well with that command. He is very energetic but can calm quickly for quiet cuddle time. He has learned to play with toys.

I HOPE SOMEONE OUT THERE SEES HIS PICTURE AND READS HIS STORY AND FALLS IN LOVE WITH RASCAL.

RASCAL NEEDS A FOREVER LOVING HOME.

I really would love to have a Forever Home with people to love me and me them.
