My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 3/22/2012: FM took me to my first vet visit and we found out that I a very healthy! My teeth look great, I don't have any heartworm and now that I've gotten rid of my fleas, my skin is healing. I'm feeling MUCH less itchy and next week, I am scheduled to be spayed. I am pretty settled in to my foster home. I love walking on my leash, playing with my toys and snuggling. My new schedule is great and I am lucky to be walked at least 3 times a day. I am so well behaved that I am only crated a night so I can remind my FM when I need to go out to potty. I will be your best friend if you rub my belly or brush my hair!

INITIAL BIO 3/10/12: Hi my name is Tootsie! I am a loving 7 year old female weighing 9.5 pounds. I am being fostered in Jacksonville, FL. My mommy had to give me up so I could find a home with an owner who is home more often. I've only been in my foster home for a couple days, and this is what I can tell you so far:
I am a very sweet little girl and love to cuddle. I love to sit next to you on the couch or at least be in the same room as everyone else. I have a new roommate who's a kitty, and so far, we are getting along just fine. My FM is introducing us slowly, so we will see how much I like having a roomie or if I prefer to be the only cuddlebug. I am housebroken and really like to go for walks and have not had one accident in the house. Right now I'm itching like carazee. FM thinks I had flea allergies. She's gonna get me fixed up ASAP so I'm ready for my FURever home!!

I still need to be spayed and have my shots. Stay tuned!!
