My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Pearl and I am a beautiful 5 year old bully babe. My foster mom says I am incredibly sweet and don’t have a care in the world. I’m not sure that’s true- I care about food and naps.
I was surrendered to LoveAbull rescue when my owner passed away. I stayed with his friend for about 6 months but had to live outside because the human children were allergic to me. As the summer months approach, everyone knew I couldn’t be outside much longer. Thank Goodness because I love the comfort of the couch.
While living outside I picked up a bad bacterial infection. I am on a cocktail of antibiotics and antifungeral medications. It is not contagious and I never complain about it. My foster mom says “we are making slow progress” and hope she has it resolved before I go to my new forever home. I am a bit over weight but walk good on a leash for short walks. Being on lower calorie quality food and a just a little bit of exercise, I will be healthier in no time!
I am pretty low energy, I like other dogs and cats and kids just fine. I have good manners and my foster mom says I am “a good catch.” Are you my forever home?
