My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I am Bentley! I am a fun loving Flat Coat Retriever mix (Watch my video with my friends). I LOVE to play (especially at doggie day care) - with just about anyone or anything that would let me. I am working with this nice lady named Kelli who is teaching me tricks and how to be a good boy. You see, my family left me and moved out of our house. I was trapped in my crate with a bowl of water and a bowl of food. I thought they were coming back, but they never did. A nice person came and let me out and took me to scarey place they call a shelter. I really did not like it there - I was scared and I wanted to find my family. Then, I heard this group called Adopt A Golden Knoxville was going to help me find a better home. I tried to tell them I was not a golden retriever but they seem to love my kind too! Boy, am I glad they did. I am waiting on my home- I would really like a family that will let me play with friends, take long walks or runs because I have a lot of energy. I think having little ones in the house might not be a good idea because I get really excited when I see them! Oh, and in case you are interested in adopting me, I am about a year old and weigh about 50 pounds. I am staying with a nice family in Tennessee.
