We've had Ivy for a while now and we really can't figure out why - she is as close to "perfect" as dogs can get: well-behaved (in and out of the house), very dog social, beautiful, smart as a whip, loyal, and so sweet.
Ivy is in a great foster home and it's clear that there isn't much not to love about her! She's a smart girl and picks up on commands very quickly, and she loves following her friends around the house to see what they're doing. She's not a big barker, doesn't beg for food, is crate trained, isn't destructive, and will sleep in until she hears her foster mom get up in the morning! She is very playful, but is happy playing with toys by herself and settles down quickly. She loves snuggling and falling asleep on someone's lap as they watch tv. She's so smart, her foster mom has trained her to go to the bathroom outside on command!
Ivy is an athletic girl who is a great city-sized dog weighing in at about 45 pounds. She looks to be a black lab/pit mix, but it's hard to say for sure. Whatever she is, she's gorgeous! We estimate her to be about 1-2 years old based on her pearly white teeth but full-grown body. We'll continue to update her profile with more information as we learn more about her, but in the meantime check out NLOL's facebook page, or fill out an application to make Ivy a new member of your family!
