Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE: Indy is neutered no longer requires crate is past puppy chewing stage. Very reliable with house training. Has become good varmit dog hunts gophers mice trees squirrels. Very athletic could make agility or flyball prospect. Very quiet in the house if given enough playtime outside. He is always on the move and shows more Rat Terrier behaviors than Beagle. He is not vocal, does not bay and rarely barks. Will bark at strangers. He is approx 6-7 months old. He is also an active chewer and will require crating when not supervised. Change in adoption fee to $50 home with another dog playmate would be best. Sleeps in the bed under the covers. I have 2 dog trained cats....one is bigger than Indy. The cats tolerate a fair amount of rough play but will get after Indy if he goes overboard. Indy is not mean just plays rough. He has been around livestock including horses, cattle, goats and sheep. Sometimes tries to play with the baby goats but isn't serious about chasing or bothering. He is oblivious to the horses and cattle, almost too much so. My horses don't kick but he isn't smart about staying away from hind feet. Needs to be neutered yet. I would not suggest Indy for a family with children under about 8 or so....he is easily charged up by rough play and is probably too much for small children. Loves to retrieve and is a jumper/ climber. Might make a good flyball or agility dog. Will require a fenced yard as he has enough Beagle to get him in trouble with his nose following scents. Is living with a 100 lb n/ male and 40ish lb s/female and plays well. Fairly food aggressive with other dogs and is currently fed in his crate to avoid issues with the resident dogs. His adoption fee is going to be around $75 depending on what the vet charges to neuter him. Will be neutered, vax and worming up to date when adopted. Requires vet and one additional reference. Really fun dog that will make you laugh when you are not pulling your hair out.
