Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Darla is a medium size Heinz 57 with a very sweet, gentle disposition. She is approximately 45-50lbs, and is likely 5-6 years old. Darla is doing very well in her foster home and is quite the little lady! She rides well in the car, walks well on a leash, is fine with dogs and ignores cats. She has not been crated in her foster home and has not been destructive while left home for a few hours each day. Darla can be a little shy and timid - but who wouldn't be if you were a mid-aged pet who somehow ended up in a rural shelter. Obviously her life has been turned upside down and she needs a forever home to welcome her with open arms. Darla likely would do best in a home without young children and would thrive in a home with patient caregivers who can make her feel secure and loved.
It is believed Darla is already spayed, and she will be fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated with Advantage multi prior to adoption. If you are interested in applying to adopt Darla, please e-mail meg264@hotmail.com with an introduction about yourself and your lifestyle, an application will then be sent. Adoption fee of $250 applies.
