A4370351 Poppy is a timid, placid two year old tan female shorthaired Min Pin/Pug mix who was discarded at the Downey shelter on December 1st because her owner had way too many dogs. Weighing seven pounds, we don’t know if Poppy walks well on leash because she insisted on being carried. She is good with other dogs (can be nervous at first of large dogs) and kids. Poppy will be the perfect indoor pet for someone living in an apartment or condo, and would be an excellent companion for a senior. Poppy is skittish of men but loves women. We believe that Rusty is her brother and we would like them to together since Rusty is very happy go lucky and playful and Poppy learns from watching him. They love to cuddle together. We are working on house training both dogs. They are in a foster with multiple dogs of all sizes, and with children. They do great.
