My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucca is coming to us from New York Animal Care and Control. He is currently being fostered in CT but will be making his way down to Virginia Beach as soon as a foster home locally can be arranged. He looks like a giant Teddy Bear, is very sweet. Lucca has had a hard life. For the last two years he has been kept in a crate, only to be let out to go to the bathroom and then was immediately put back in there. He was then poked at by the children in the home through the crate. For all that he has been through he deserves a loving, calm foever home where he will be able to live out the next 5-7 years of his life in peace. Won't you give this guy the home that he deserves? Lucca is good with other dogs and adores anyone new he meets. Because of his past with children right now he is only available to a home with young adult children over 14 years old until futher testing can be done.
