My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh Maggie Mae, how I wish you could tell us what has happened in your short life! This 1 yr. old Maltese has suffered some abuse in her first year of life and is fearful of men and boys. She is very affectionate with women and young girls. A local shelter requested help from our rescue organization so we could more thoroughly find an adoptive family who would be patient and willing to help Maggie. Maggie enjoys going for walks and car rides as well as performing basic commands such as “down,” “sit,” and “come.” She enjoys the company of other playful dogs, both big and small, as well as household cats & rabbits. Currently Maggie is residing in a foster home with a couple and their 9-yr. old daughter. Maggie has been spayed, her shots are current, and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
