LUCKY has a HAPPY and SAD Story.
The SAD Story: A good Samaritan was driving on a local highway and witnessed a car throw this cute puppy out while driving down the road in a heavy wooded area. The Samaritan stopped and picked up the pup and started posting flyers in the county to find the pup a good home.
A HAPPY STORY: Fortunately, a member of our Humane Association foster family roster saw the flyer and agreed to give the cute puppy a good home until a Forever Loving Home could be found.
On Lucky’s visit to the vet on December 5th he weighed 7.8 pounds; on January 4, 2012 he now weighs 10.6 pounds. We believe Lucky will be a small to medium dog. It is very difficult to say exactly what breed mix Lucky may be.
We do know Lucky is a very friendly and “laid back”. He is not totally house trained, but he does know to go to the door. Sometimes the door is not opened soon enough and he may have an accident. Lucky's approximate date of birth is September 12, 2011.
Part of Lucky’s SAD story is that we he first went into foster care he had not yet developed all his manners. At dinner time, when all the dogs were eating Lucky decided he wanted to sniff to see what the much larger and older dog was eating. The larger, older dog turned to Lucky to tell him NO, but caught Lucky’s eye. Lucky was rushed to Emergency and the eye was sewn shut as a precautionary measure. Lucky’s stitches have fallen out and he is doing just great with no loss of sight in the eye.
LUCKY needs another HAPPY STORY a FORVER LOVING HOME. LUCKY IS WAIVING AT YOU IN ONE OF THE PICTURES SHOWN.
