Update 04/27/07: Gee - I must be popular! Mom says everyone wants to see my picture! I went to the doggie Doctor and he said I was good to go home with my new family now. Are you willing to be my new family? I am eager to please, housetrained, leash trained and only bark when those silly people take another dog walking on MY sidewalk or when I'm playing. I have learned that it is good to sleep in your bed with you so I no longer sleep on the couch. If you are interested in taking me home with you, just fill out an adoption application at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and let my mom know!
Original Bio 04/13/07: Hi my name is Elliott. My foster mom calls me the distinguished gentleman. I am 8 years old and weigh 8.75 lbs. My Foster Mom says it is all muscle, kindness and love. My other people took me to the pound 'cause they said I chew my tail. If they had taken me to a doggie Doctor they would have found out that I am allergic to fleas. Advantage every 3 weeks will handle that! I love to play. I love all the furkids in this house, even the monster German Sheppard all the others are afraid of. I play nicely with children and cats. Foster Mom is proud 'cause I learned to use the doggie door the first day I was here. I don't do any tricks that my FM can find, but she is excited 'cause I do know 'NO', 'GO', 'COME', not to potty in the house and walk calmly on a leash. I just really want my very own human companion. I promise to lie in your lap, sleep on the couch (I refuse to sleep with the other furkids in the bed! That is for babies!) And take very good care of you if you will take me into your home forever. If you want to meet me you can email me.
