Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah
** Eligible for our Senior for Seniors program
(info here: http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptabledogs.htm)
Pixie is a Yorkie/Terrier mix who is around 8 years. It is pretty obvious that this girl was someone’s loved pet but after spending time at a local shelter without being claimed her number came up so she came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue’s foster program.
This adorable girl is mostly (if not completely) deaf and is blind in one eye; but don’t let that bother you she is very well adapted. Due to her deafness she does startle easily but doesn’t react other than to jump a little bit, no nipping, biting or yelping, just a little jump.
Pixie is very good with other dogs and cats but she needs to go to a home with no kids due to her special needs; she would do much better in a household that is quiet and has a routine. This girl likes to curl up and sleep on a blanket and she is very low maintenance and easy going. Pixie would be awesome for a senior couple who want a low energy girl.
She is house-trained and will bark when she needs to go outside and will bark when she needs to come in, otherwise she is very quiet. Pixie has plenty of spunk to her and will let you know if she is not happy with something. She will not nip at all but growl – it is very funny. She is hilarious! Very sweet and will give kisses.
Pixie is spayed but will need to be brought up to date on her vaccinations
If you can offer Pixie a quiet, loving household please complete an adoption application on the Fuzzy Pawz website and we will have her foster mom Christie contact you. Application: http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm
The adoption fee for Pixie is $40
