Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note: This kitty is a courtesy posting for an Independent Rescuer in our area. If you are interested in this cutie we encourage you to contact Marla directly at 517-548-1780. Or feel free to send her an e-mail at msswartz@chartermi.net
Please also be aware that all of our cats and kittens will only be adopted out to homes which do not plan on having them de-clawed.
If this is something you feel is important, however, we do have quite a few cats that come into the rescue already de-clawed by their former owners. These guys and gals are of all ages, cuddly and very affectionate. We would overjoyed to put you in contact with them if you are at all interested.
Meet Ginni!
This exquisite beauty was actually found very thin and roaming the streets. A very nice Samitarian (and his family) saw her when they went out to feed some other local outdoor kitties and took her under their wing. Unfortunately, this family already has several kitties of their own and are unable to keep her. So they contacted us in the hopes that we will be able to find this gorgeous gal a loving family.
Ginni has been confirmed by several Breed Specific Rescuers as most likely being a pure-bred Marbled Silver Bengal. Long, lean and muscular with thick and silky fur this sweet kitty is definitely reminiscent in appearance to the wild ancestors she may be related to. Her behavior and temperament is all domestic kitty, however, and once she warms up, she loves nothing better then to rub against your legs and receive as much attention as you can give her.
Although she does not, as of yet, appear to be a 'conversational talker' she definitely has a VOICE and is not afraid to let you know her feelings when she feels it is necessary. She also has a hugely loud purr and is happiest when she can be nearby and involved in whatever you are doing.
We need to mention, also, that Ginni is currently pregnant and due to give birth within the next few weeks. We don't know for sure who the father is, but there has been some mention of a large black Tom hanging around in the area where she was found.
We will be keeping Ginni in rescue (with her babies) until the kittens are old enough to go to homes of their own. At that point, everyone will officially come up for adoption. In the meantime, however, if you are at all interested in giving this wonderful kitty a home when she does become available please feel free to give Marla a call.
We would love speak with you and have you come meet this lovely little girl.
Please note: As of yet, we do not know Ginni's exact age and (due to the pregnancy) we have not given her any vaccines. She IS FIV and Feline Leukemia Negative. Before any adoption takes place she (and her kittens) will be brought up to date on all vaccines and Ginni will also be spayed.
