Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a handsome boy! Scout is a 4-year-old Labrador X dog, weighing about 75#. He was an owner surrender when his family had a child with medical issues that took up all of their time. They felt it was best for Scout to find a new home, a home that could give him the time he deserves as a terrific family pet.
Scout is housetrained and crate trained. When his family was away, he had the run of the house, not needing to be crated. He’s past the puppy stage of not being trusted!
Scout is great with kids and is very patient with them. He loves to play with other dogs and will jump a fence to go play with a passing dog. So, he cannot be left outside unsupervised unless on a tie-out. He just is a social butterfly and loves attention. He does like to play fetch, too!
He knows his basic obedience commands: SIT, DOWN, STAY, KENNEL UP, OFF, DROP IT, and GO INSIDE. He is a very smart dog and eager to please. Such a good dog!
Who would like to give Scout the forever home that he deserves? He will make a perfect family pet with very little effort on your part!
This dog's adoption fee is $215 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
