Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cooper and everyone says I'm fantastic - except the cat! I'm about a year old and I weigh about 35 pounds. I'm wonderfully trained, attentive, gentle, and sweet. I was adopted by my people who have house trained, leash trained. and obedience trained me. And I love their older dog, Pepper, too. Even though I'm a Border Collie, I'm quieter and much more laid back than is typical of my breed. And I'm smart - I learn quickly and I'm a good running buddy. I sleep through the night without having to be taken out. I love to cuddle, my fur is wonderfully soft, and I'm very good with baths and getting my nails trimmed. All around, I'm a great dog! And very grateful for the love and attention I've received. The problem is that I haven't been able to make friends with Dusty, my family's cat. And Dusty has been with my family a long time, so, sadly, they need to re-home me - even though they love me very much and are heartbroken that I don't get along with Dusty. If you'd like a beautiful, happy, fun dog and you don't have young children or cats - then I'm the dog for you! My adopted family would like you to call them directly - Walter and Linda, at (858) 453-3436. Thank you!
