Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Please click on our organization name "Circle P Sanctuary and Ranch" for more information on adoption policies and fees** _____Frisky History:_____ Frisky is a nurse mare orphan foal who was taken from her mom at six weeks of age. She and Lucky came to the Sanctuary at the same time from Last Chance Corral. _____Frisky Current:_____ Frisky is a very people orientated mare - she loves to be around people as much as she loves to be around her herd. Being a bottle fed baby, at times she acts more like a big dog than a horse. Frisky is very easy to catch and will come running when called from the field. She works well with handler and stands well for the vet and the farrier. Frisky loves to be groomed, which is a good thing because she has an absolutely gorgeous, thick mane and tail. Frisky was started by pulling a cart with a driver in it at a walk and trot. Currently, Frisky can be ridden at the walk, trot, and canter consistently in both a regular and bit less bridle.Frisky loves to work! She is fabulous on the trails and very willing - she has even been taken over small jumps. Frisky is still sorting out her feet and alternates between a pace and a trot at times. Frisky is also capable of going into an amble, although the collection required makes it hard for her to maintain. _____Frisky Future:_____ Frisky, being a green horse, needs an intermediate rider and will still need continued training. Being as young as she is, Frisky is looking for someone who wants to make a lifelong commitment to a horse. Frisky has great potential, and she would do well in a home that is looking for their next trail or show horse. Like all horses, Frisky needs to be placed in a home with at least one other horse.
