Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rudolph, or Rudy as he likes to be called, was found in a yard on a huge, heavy chain. His snout was swollen and his ears were crudely chopped off. He was picked up and taken to Ft Worth ACC. We pulled him right before Christmas.
We believe he is about 2-3 yrs old. He is fixed, has all his shots and is H/W-. Rudolph would do great as a single "furchild" for now while he's in training. He is a cuddler, loves to go on walks and is somewhat camera shy...get the pics when you get the chance!! He is super sweet, and may do well with other dogs, however his foster does not have other dogs and he seems a little "protective" of her on their walks. He is not good with cats. He is crate trained, house trained, walks well on a leash, is super quiet and calm...almost stoic, and LOVES his people! Regardless of his start in life, he is a very loving, wonderful little big boy!!

A little note from his previous foster:
He is a very laid back dog and I have no idea of his age, but I would say 3/4 at the most. The vet made no comment on it, so take that for what it's worth. He is super sweet and just really wants to be with his human. He did need a reasonable amount of exercise and for me that was about 4-6 miles a week with walks ranging from about 1/4-3 miles or just sometimes going around the backyard to potty. He was pretty good about not going in the house as long as I paid attention to his behaviors. However, he didn't defecate outside on walks often enough and would signal me that he needed to go when we came in. He was having some intestinal issues though and that could account for that. He had terrible separation anxiety so I used a crate and that really helped. He still cried sometimes, but if I gave him a treat to keep him busy (as oppose to a quick edible food) when he went in he didn't howl.
I really don't recommend him being around cats at all. Definitely prey driven. He seemed to want to play with my neighbors large female dog, but was not having it with one of their males. I think he could be worked with into a family with the right dog.
In my overall opinion he is a typical pittie and would benefit from being with someone who is familiar with these dogs. They are some work, but he is worth every moment. I miss him so much I wish I could tell you...
