Hello my name is Gertie and I'm a 9 year old female. I currently live in Maryland with my foster family. They picked me up from a shelter that would not adopt me out because I didn't like the rubber hand trying to take my food. I think I was just hungry because I haven't had any issues with this in my foster home (probably because I always get my own bowl, and never have to defend it from the other dogs). I'm a very loving and active dog; don't let my age fool you, because I can keep up with all of my younger foster siblings! I'm fully housebroken and just need a loving home.
