Merry is a wonderful little dog, approximately 3 years old. She is small (only 8 1/2 inches tall), and weighs about 8 pounds - but is not fragile. Merry runs and plays with all the other dogs including a 70 pound Doberman. She was attacked several times by large dogs, and one of those attacks resulted in eye damage; she has lost sight in that eye, and it is somewhat shriveled. Merry has had no problems because of her diminished sight. She is a very snugly little girl. Merry is a very social dog who loves people and other animals. She is housebroken, comes when called (most of the time), walks well on a leash, uses a doggy door, and she does not need constant supervision. While she prefers to sleep under the covers with her person, she is content to stay in a crate with a blanket. Merry has been child tested by a quiet 10 year old, and (because of her size) would probably do well with younger children as long as they are respectful. We call her Merry because she came to Ratbone during Christmas, and the name suits her, since she is such a happy, cheerful little girl. To see more pix of Merry please use
