Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maya is a female APBT. She is about 1 year 8 months old (guessing from paperwork) She is vaccinated and spayed.
Maya, formerly known as Sapphire, was brought to our attention via an article in the examiner.com. (http://www.examiner.com/dogs-in-national/mama-without-baby-has-until-8-am-on-monday)
We felt this gal deserved a much better life than what she had already experienced. And with a new life came a new name. She was no longer "Sapphire" the dog used for breeding then dumped at a high kill shelter without her puppies". She was now Maya...the strong, brilliant, sweet, loving gal who can overcome her past and enjoy a wonderful future!!
Maya's foster mommy says this "she's come a long way from the 40 pounds, scared, tired mama she was and is now about 80 pounds and has responded well to training! she's doing great with my 2 year old, she's house trained, crate trained (sleeps in it at night), sits on command, and loves to run outside and doesn't jump the fence or dig! she's great on a leash and gets very excited when she sees it! loves car rides and walks! "
Maya has been with Butch Capel for two weeks for training and evaluation and has passed with flying colors!!
