Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ozzy has been rescued by Countrydogs after being homeless for over a year and a half. He was found as a stray in June of 2012 and taken to a local shelter. He quickly became a favorite of both shelter workers and animal control officers. Unfortunately, Ozzy was never the first choice of adopters and his time was running short at the shelter. A foster home was found and he spent several months with his temporary family. Due to a change in the foster family's schedule, it was necessary for Ozzy to return to the shelter and confinement. He is now with Countrydogs.
His report card is excellent! He is very dog friendly and has been around both large and small dogs. He is a lover, wags his entire body when greeting people, and enjoys giving kisses. He knows how to sit, lie down, come when called, and listens very well. Ozzy is in good health, is house trained, and loves sleeping on his dog bed. We have yet to hear him bark, and he appears to have no interest in being destructive or an escape artist.
We recommend that Ozzy is not adopted by a family with cats. He seems to think they are another one of his toys. This is the only negative that we have been able to identify. Ozzy has definitely paid his dues! Countrydogs is excited to be able to help him find his permanent home.
Many good people have invested their hearts in Ozzy and this promises to be an especially meaningful rescue for Countrydogs, those pulling for Ozzy, and most of all, the lucky adopter and family.
If you or someone you know would like to meet Ozzy and provide him with the home and life he truly deserves, please contact Jim at 720-278-5543 or via email at jim@countrydogsrescue.com
