My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Missy, I am a female Pot Bellied Pig. I am approx 35-40 pounds and just the right size for me. In October of 2011, I am 1+ years old. I love dogs and am ok with cats. I am used to living inside with dogs and cats. If I were to be outside, remember that I will need to be in a heated area. I love to root and do all the things a pig does. I am working on my potty training and sort of go in one area. I am good with kids and everyone. I often go to nursing homes and daycares to visit. I love people but I don't like to be picked up. I love my treats too but my foster mom is very careful not to give me too many so that I stay healthy. I am looking for my forever home. Would you be that person? Missy is currently in a foster home in the south metro area of Minneapolis, MN. Adoptive family should be within a 60 mile radius. An application and home visit will need to be completed prior to adoption finalization. We want to make sure Missy finds a forever home that is a great fit for everyone. Adoption Fees for MN: Between $150.00 to $300.00 depending on what the vet needs are. This always includes the neuter or spay as well as shots.
