She is young and still very puppy, gets distracted easily but is learning commands. She nudges you to get your attention. She is playful loves the stuffed toys already and loves to fling the clothes all over while playing. We are still evaluating her personality, she is in a foster home with small kids, and seems to be okay. Gets along with cats too!
He/she weighs 9 lbs so considered a toy schnauzer; and is ? in color and 1 1/2 years young. Zanya is being fostered by Amanda and her family in Canton OH area. We do not ship or transport our dogs you must drive to the foster home to meet the dog. We cannot hold more than 2 weeks from notifying you approved to complete the adoption. Most of our rescues lived with another pet and would like a playmate, however some are very independent and can be an only pet.
Zanya's adoption fee is $325 (toy) it includes a veterinary exam, annual booster shot, rabies shot and tag, heartworm test and passed, fecal and preventative deworming. she ALSO HAD a dental cleaning... PLUS Neutered or Spayed and our prepaid registered MICROCHIP. IN ADDITION if our vet deems it necessary they will have had a DENTAL, possible extractions and pain and antibotic meds after surgeries. You also receive a trial limited 30 day pet insurance from a third party. In season our rescues have had flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
We send you home with a copy of all the vet work, dog training booklet, Adopted Dog Training CD, adoption paperwork and tips. Our Foster families notes explaining our rescue dogs schedule, habits, socialization skills.
We do not require a fenced yard on all of our dogs, it is on a as needed basis. HOWEVER if you don't have a fenced yard we do require you to purchase an exercise pen (>$60 on internet) so that the dog can be safe when outside; small dogs cannot be tied out dogs.
Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them, potty pad train them and use exercise pens for outside and work on potty skills. Dogs learn quickly and are pretty far along. But expect some accidents at lst until they know the routine.
Our dogs are fostered in private homes in OH and MI. We are not a shelter you will need an approved application and an appointment to meet our rescue dogs.
