My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival Story: Brodie found himself living at a rural shelter because his owner was hospitalized for an extended period, and no family members were able to care for him. Faithful Friends stepped in and brought Brodie into their rescue.

Age / Weight: About one and a half years old and 17 pounds. Brodie is extremely unique looking - with one blue eye and one brown eye. His coloring is absolutely stunning. Please note that he will need occasional trips to the groomer as his beautiful and flowing coat will need to be maintained.

Personality Description: Great! Brodie has a lot of spunk and energy so an active family would definitely suit him best. He loves to play with other dogs too! Brodie's getting along perfectly with the four other dogs (both big and small) in his foster home. He is crate-trained and is not destructive at all. His foster mom has also discovered that Brodie is a big fan of playing fetch in the yard!

Ideal Forever Home: Brodie would thrive being part of an active family, due to his young age and energy level. He loves to run and is very fast too! We feel a fenced yard would probably be the best situation for him. Although not required, Brodie would do well if he had a dog pal to play with - hopefully another dog with lots of play energy, like him. Please: local applicants, only (note Brodie's foster home is in Livonia, Michigan). No out-of-state adoptions.

How to Adopt This Dog? Click here to download our pre-adoption application Please e-mail Brodie's foster mom with any questions (turtle9462@aol.com) or feel free to e-mail an application directly to her, or to ffarboard@gmail.com. This helps us ensure that our dogs are going to homes best suited for their personalities and energy levels.

Please understand that it may take several days to process your application. Our volunteers all work full time jobs and do their rescue work in their spare time, so please be patient. Someone will follow up with you.
