My story

UPDATED 1-15-2012: Jewel had a "glamour shot" session with a local photographer, fredericageorgia.com, who brought her true beauty and charm! Jewel has been at the shelter the longest and is urgent!

This friendly gal was found as a stray. We've no idea of her breed mix but "guesstimate" it to be Lab & Pitbull. We are calling her "Jewel". She needs a forever home or reputable rescue to give her a chance to truly shine (and also to help her put on a few pounds after her time as a stray).

The shelter does not have the ability to heartworm test on-site; however, for reputable rescues, local volunteer assistance is available for transport to a local Vet clinic for such testing and to obtain appropriate vaccines and Health Certificate.
