Meet Rascal, a 5 year old black tri Australian Shepherd Mini, he weighs all of 25 pounds soaking wet. Rascal is one funny guy, and even with the bad luck he had in the past, he still carries a smile and a great attitude to life and the people he meets. Rascal came to us from a shelter, he had been there for quite some time, and he was returned a few times, why we aren’t sure, because he is quite the character in his foster home, and while at first was very shy, he now knows no strangers. He loves to play with his foster step-brother, more than others they have had in the home, he walks on a leash and rides well in a car. He stayed at our local Aussie Hilton, and was a madman the whole time, playing from sun up to sun down. Rascal has an injury, to his right eye, we are told he was always bothering the horses at the farm he lived on, and he was being to antagonistic one too many times, and the horse clocked him on the face, damaging his eye and causing him to be blind in his right eye. We have had it looked at, and while it may bother some folks, he is in no danger. We are not sure if we want to remove, cover and stich or obtain a glass eye and give him a Sammy Davis look, but we will let him decide that. We are looking into donations to help offset costs to eventually attend to his eye. Rascal is up for adoption, he is fostering in the Central Illinois Area and is eagerly awaiting a home. We suggest no horses as he is not good with them, but he is fine with everything else. Please complete an
