Here's what the humans have to say about me:
How anyone can dump a dog is beyond my comprehension, but to dump a sweet Basset Hound, that probably had a decent life living in someone's house, on Christmas is just downright cruel and mean. This poor girl was waiting at T-Bone Truck Stop when the first employee got to work the morning after Christmas day. We thought for sure someone would be franntcally searching for their beloved old girl, but not a word. She is not skinny, has a fairly new collar, is housebroken, barks a little but not much, gets along with everyone she meets and is just a very, very sweet old soul. The first few days she would look up at me with those sad Basset eyes and I know if I could only iread her mind, she was asking me to take her to her family. It is just so heartbreaking. Betsy has settled in nicely and doesn't seem to be quite as sad anymore. She would sure like to have a new family that would love her forever. Betsy is spayed, vaccinated, tested for heartworms, microchipped and has had a dental. We are guessing Betsy to be about 6 years old and have given her a DOB of 1/11/2006.
