~~Howdy from CRICKET!~~
As of April 1st, CRICKET is about 5 months old. As typical of puppies her age, Cricket enjoys games & play & is looking for a home where that's the ticket. Play & Games. Games & Play. Then, Play, Play, Games & Play. She LOVES people AND dogs. Cats? Ehhh. Not so much.
Cricket knows how to 'Sit' and also comprehends 'No Jump Up' (WOW, if only this were contagious!) Her temperament is super-sweet & she already knows how to 'Come' when called.
Dogs under one year old are really dependent upon their people for kind schooling on how to behave. Cricket's adopter is expected to be knowledgeable about (or willing to learn) how to housetrain a puppy. Housetraining puppies involves frequent trips outside by puppy AND person (on leash even in a fenced yard) with lots of praise &/or rewards. No puppies go potty indoors for spite. If you think dogs do things for spite then a puppy is probably not for you. It's all up to the people to teach the puppy kindly & patiently where acceptable potty spots are. Most dogs catch on pretty quickly but accidents happen with even the smartest dog.
Cricket is being fostered on a farm with other rescue dogs. She would like a home of her own as fast as you can say, 'Jiminny [Cricket]!' IIf you need a little more love in your life from the paws of Cricket, & if you want to give a little more love from your life to our puppy friend, please contact Beckey, the foster mom, via email. She can send you an application.

Cricket will be spayed before she is adopted out.
The 3rd photo is one of Cricket as a puppy in December. We think she has stayed cute as a bug, er a Cricket!
