Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jakey is a gorgeous and sweet Treeing Walker Coonhound (almost certainly Purebred) who was rescued from a shelter in central Georgia. He had a rough start in life, and is now ready for the loving and kind forever home that he deserves.
Jakey is calm and laid back in the house, and walks very nicely on the leash. At times, he is playful and exhibits that charming "goofy" Coonhound quality. Jakey gets along well with most dogs, but is best placed in a home without cats.
Jakey is 3 1/2 years old, neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and heartworm-free. He is SUCH a handsome fellow, and has got those beautiful coonhound ears that don't stop!
Jakey's adoption fee is only $30 -- You can put your savings on his adoption fee toward his heartworm peventive! :-)
Jakey does Not require a fenced back yard. (But if you happen to have one, I can give you a 50-foot aerial tie-out. That could be useful if he is able to jump over your fence, as he is mine! Tie-outs should only be used under supervision, and for short periods of time.)
