My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you heard about the new “designer” dogs called Labradoodles??? Well, that’s what KELSIE and SAVANNAH are!

Originating in Australia initially, Labradoodles are now being bred in this country. Labradoodles are a cross between a Male Poodle and a Female Lab. (F1 = first generation.) They can be any number of different colors, with black the most common. KELSIE, however, is a gorgeous cream color! And SAVANAH is cream and gold.

Labradoodles are generally non-shedding and hypo-allergenic, hence their popularity!

Sadly, too many breeders started breeding this unique mix and now they are ending up in shelters! KELSIE and SAVANNAH came from a breeding kennel that was shutting down due to the health of the owner. KELSIE and SAVANNAH had lived in this kennel all their short lives, but despite that, they are both very well socialized! They get along well with the other dogs here.

During the daytime, they are happy lounging on the cool tile floor in the bathroom. KELSIE and SAVANNAH are indoor dogs that enjoy going outside with their family but if you’re inside, that’s where they want to be! When outside, KELSIE and SAVANNAH will need to be on a leash or else in a fenced in yard. They are both so much alike that they are described here together, but they do not have to go to the same homes.

In fact, it will probably be better for both that each is “Queen Bee” at her own separate home!

KELSIE and SAVANNAH each are about 50 pounds, 2.5 years old, UTD on shots, spayed, on monthly Heartgard and Fraontline Plus preventative. These are two fabulous girls! They won't last long, so write for your app today!

In the pics, KELSIE is the white one. SAVANNAH is more gold in color.
