My story

Meet Shadow, an energetic 2 year old black Bi Australian Shepherd female. She is the proud daughter of a US soldier called up for duty in Afghanistan. He sadly had to turn her in to the shelter. To say she was hurt and confused is an understatement. Shadow is up to date on all her shots, and she is spayed. She also is housebroken, crate trained and loves her country, and her foster mom. Shadow is all puppy at this point, she loves to run for hours and has excellent recall when you call out to her. Shadow rides well in a car and is learning how to walk on a leash. Shadow loves to play with her foster sister, a Rat terrier, for hours and hours. She loves to chew on bones and play with toys, and she will actually entertain herself by throwing her own toys for hours as well! Shadow is fine around cats and is curious, but for the most part leaves the resident cat alone. Shadow loves to cuddle with her foster mom, and we would like to see her adopted by a family with another Aussie or energetic dog to keep her company. Shadow is being fostered in Carlton, Minnesota.
