"How could anyone not want this dog?!" That is the question Turner's foster parents have been wondering lately. As he's settling into his foster home, he truly is proving to be a dream dog. Turner is a young, well natured, 60 pound Golden Retriever Black Lab mix. He is a gorgeous, loving dog in need of a home who shares his passion for an affectionate type of lifestyle! If you do not like a dog who is always close by, and part of the family - Turner is NOT for you!! Turner is an extremely affectionate, sensitive dog who requires a home where lots of hugs and kisses are a part of life! This sweetie gets along great with other dogs, is playful yet not aggressive with cats, and is loving towards all he meets. He is fully housetrained, and has good house manners. Turner is quite calm in the house, but very playful and active outside for playtimes. Daily playtime and walkies are a must for this young dog. Turner also requires a home who will ensure he gets lots of playtime with other doggy friends! Turner was surrendered to a shelter because he kept running off of his unfenced property, so a secure fenced yard and a commitment to his safety is a must in his forever home. Turner is a leash puller, he has been introduced to a halti and walks quite nicely with it. Turner is just over a year old and is a very smart boy who has such an extremely sweet demeanor. Obedience training for leash walks and basic commands would be a benefit to Turner. Turner truly is a fantastic boy with a heart of gold who has lots of love to give to a lucky forever family! Turner has been fully vaccinated, neutered and heartworm tested (NEG).
