Would you just look at this little man (just 18 lbs.)? Perkins is an approximately 10 year old Miniature Poodle with a pretty white coat and a lot of personality. He's a happy-go-lucky, playful guy that is just looking to find the perfect family to spend his life with. His foster mom says that he is quite the clown and loves to play catch with himself by throwing his toys around. He loves other dogs, children and, well, just about everyone he meets.

Poor Perkins does have cataracts. which is not unusual for his breed and his age...but he does not seem to be bothered by them. Ohterwise, he is as healthy as a horse and looking forward to being someone's special little boy.

Poor Perkins was dumped at a high kill shelter in Tennessee, where they have a 90% euthanization rate. We are currently working with a wonderful rescue down there to find homes for these dogs....because they just can't locate good adoptive homes in their area. We have been so blessed by the wonderful families that we have found up here, so Perkins is going to be a part of the My Constant Companion team and we are confident that the right home will open their hearts to him in no time at all.
