Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nigel is one of three dogs that came to us via a backyard breeder that had to close up shop and move. (Yea!) Nigel is both beautiful and sweet.
This gentle English Cream boy is very good with new people but he has not been out and about in the world. He needs a home that takes him for walks and various outings and work on exposing him to lots of new people, new situations and new things. Because he is young, he would love to have a canine sibling in his new home for both play and companionship.
Nigel is an extremely long dachshund so no stairs for this boy. He needs a home that is one level or with only a few stairs that can be ramped.
Nigel is neutered and current on his vaccinations. He is complainingly sleeping in a crate but really wants to be under the covers in the big bed with his people.
If you are interested in Nigel , please fill out an adoption application at www.scdr.org and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Nigel is $350.
