My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Chesney, and I'm told by everyone how adorable I am- I guess I'll take their word for it. The vet thinks I may be a shar-pei/mastiff mix (may be some hound in me, too- but don't worry, I don't howl like one). I am estimated to be about 10 months old and I weigh 49 lbs. and will not likely get much bigger. More importantly, I'm such a happy dog, happy to be alive, very easygoing, and I love everyone I meet- so eager to please. I'm very affectionate, attentive, and want nothing more than to curl up on your lap...all 49 lbs. of me. You won't be able to breathe, but hopefully you can survive on all my kisses. I am coming along with my housetraining, but still need a bit more work on that. I do, however, enjoy the company of other dogs ( and cats, too) and tend to model their behavior. I consider myself to be a more submissive type of dog around other dogs, which makes me an easy fit for a family with other pets. Won't you consider adding me to your family?
