Tabatha came in with severe hair loss. We did blood work and think it is poor nutrition. She is on a good diet and we are watchting to see if it improves. She also needed a dental because of tartar.
Tabatha weighs 4 lbs and is blue or silver saddle back in color and 1 years young. She is being fostered by dd and family in Canton OH area. We do not ship or transport our dogs you must drive to the foster home to meet the dog. We cannot hold more than 2 weeks from notifying you approved to complete the adoption. Most of our rescues lived with another pet and would like a playmate, however some are very independent and can be an only pet.
Tabatha's adoption fee is $400 it includes a veterinary exam, annual booster shot, rabies shot and tag, heartworm test and passed, fecal and preventative deworming. PLUS Neutered or Spayed and our prepaid registered MICROCHIP. IN ADDITION if our vet deems it necessary they will have had a DENTAL, possible extractions and pain and antibotic meds after surgeries. You also receive a trial limited 30 day pet insurance from a third party. In season our rescues have had flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
We send you home with a copy of all the vet work, dog training booklet, Adopted Dog Training CD, adoption paperwork and tips. Our Foster families notes explaining our rescue dogs schedule, habits, socialization skills.
We do not require a fenced yard on all of our dogs, it is on a as needed basis. HOWEVER if you don't have a fenced yard we do require you to purchase an exercise pen (>$60 on internet) so that the dog can be safe when outside; small dogs cannot be tied out dogs.
Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them, potty pad train them and use exercise pens for outside and work on potty skills. Dogs learn quickly and are pretty far along. But expect some accidents at lst until they know the routine.
Our dogs are fostered in private homes in OH and MI. We are not a shelter you will need an approved application and an appointment to meet our rescue dogs. Please click here for our on line application http://members.petfinder.com/~OH791/OH791_application_form.html
