Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Sadie" came from East Tennessee where she was found, skinny as a bone, with a sad face, around Halloween time. She was found by a woman who has a rescued pit-bull already, and could not house another (as per her landlord). She started calling around to find a home for this little girl, and found one with an old friend in Virginia. The only time they could meet to switch hands was 1 week away, so she called me to temporarily foster her for the week. During this week, the guy in Virgina backed out (as this would have been his 6th dog!), so she has stayed with me ever since.
Unfortunately, with my crazy schedule, I have found it almost impossible to provide a good home for a puppy. I am working full time, and going to school at night- an hour away from home. She is crated all this time, however, I have been able to stop at home to walk her in between work and school.
Next semester, I will be taking more school hours so it will be even harder on us. Not to mention, I cannot afford her any longer. My roommate just moved out and I am barely getting by as it is.
Her personality is just like the pictures- laid back and happy, and very sweet. She is dog (incl. other female pits!) and kid friendly although I have not had her around any cats. She is completely house trained and doesn't get up on the furniture. She is more tolerant of baths now than she was in the beginning and her leash etiquette is improving slowly but surely. She sits, lays down and goes "out" when I command by voice and pointing for her to be out of the kitchen or bathroom, etc. She is a very fast learner. Also, VERY protective of the house.
Sadie has been spayed and is up to date on her shots.
