Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I have had a heck of a life! I started out with a breeder who had 90 Pomeranians. Twenty eight of us got out of there together and were taken to some property where we lived in a storage shed with a little fence around it. The door was propped open with a rock so we could go in and out as we wanted. There were some pretty cold nights out there! We had some old bench car seats to sleep on or sometimes we got underneath them when we were scared. No one lived on the property to give us attention. Someone brought water and food put in a big bin once a day. We were there for a couple of months, until someone else came and got us (me & Bella) out. We went straight to the doctor, who gave us all our shots. Our coats were really matted and a bit smelly. I had the biggest hair you’ve ever seen! I gave Dolly Parton a run for her money! So, then the groomer got a hold of us and got us spic and span and looking like rock stars! After that, we went to a nice warm house and got our “own” bowl of food and a warm bed.
I have been at my foster’s home now for about 3 weeks. I just got I have been at my foster’s home now for about 3 weeks. I just got spayed last Friday and have to wait a couple of weeks to get my stitches out. Then I will be ready to find my humans who I can love and they will love me back. I haven’t even barked, growled, or made a noise since I have been with my foster. I am sure she is wondering if I even can! I am very laid back. I would probably even be a great therapy dog! I do like my food though. I am chocolate in color and sometimes my foster calls me “Chunky Chocolate Chip.” I don’t mind, she thinks it’s cute! I was actually named “Amber” because my foster thought I had the most unusual and beautiful amber colored eyes!
I like to sleep in bed with my foster and I don’t mind cats a bit. I get along with the other dogs and really just go with the flow. I am doing great with house training! I run right out the door when it’s time! I like to be indoors, but I like to play outside too! I’m just waiting for that special someone!
Ready for adoption on 12/24/11. Oh, and I am about 3 years old, weigh 12 pounds and am heartworm negative! The doctor had to do a lot of stuff with me so my adoption fee is $150.00.
