My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This French Brittany named Angel is nothing short of...well...an angel!

I picked up this sweetie in early March of 2007 from an owner who could no longer keep her due to changes in her living and financial situation. She had not been to the vet in about three years so we quickly got her up to date and back to being a healthy and happy dog. She currently lives with me and my fiance along with our two other dogs Drediel Mae (Brittany) and Noah Mike (Cavalier King Charles) and our cat, Mojito.

She could truly take or leave the dogs, but she LOVES our cat. She is crate trained and house trained and as far as we can tell, she is spade (we can't see her scar but she has not gone into heat). She adores people and is a great snuggler. She likes to be handled very gently but is extremely playful and loves to run in the backyard (provided you keep her company).

She would be best in a house with older children (teens or up). We think she has been slightly abused or handled inappropriately in the past and little children might play a little too rough for her. She would also do best with owners who are home most of the time and like to do a lot of activities that include their dog. Like I said above, she can handle other dogs, but if they are too agressive she does not do well. A home with no current dogs or one dog that is pretty laid back would be best for her.

She is truly a wonderful dog. She loves giving kisses, getting kisses, and she is partial to belly rubs...long ones.
