My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Charlie and I am a year old beagle mix. I wish I could say that I have the characteristics of the typical puppy, but I don't. See....I came from a situation that was not ideal for a puppy. I wasn't loved and I was not treated with kindness. Therefore, I am timid and fearful of people until I feel comfortable with them. I will require someone who will be patient with me and allow me the time I need to adjust. If anything positive can be said about my situation, it would be that I am young and still workable. I know I could learn to play like the other puppies and with some TLC I could leave my past behind. I am social with other dogs,kids and cats and I like the comfort that they can provide.
