My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was just wondering.....does that person who didn't look for me care where I am? Probably not, otherwise I wouldn't have shown up at a rescuers door after a rainstorm. Hi, my name is Henry and if you are searching for a people friendly, well mannered friend then please choose me. I am a 6 year old hound mix weighing about 45 pounds. True, I am a bit older but with age comes wisdom and I know what it means to be obedient, part of a pack and where the bathroom is. I like the company of other dogs and children and I can offer a stable and reliable temperament. I don't feel as though I have to challenge the rules instead I just obey them. I am affectionate and appreciate a warm bed and daily meals. My exercise routine is not extreme and I like to meander here and there. Please give me a chance....after all, love knows no age.
