My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl is Malinda. Lost in the "owned dog" system at the shelter for 2 months, she was finally released for adoption and we were more than happy to foster her until her new forever family is found.
Malinda is a shih tzu mix, lean and lanky. Since rescued she has received treatment for worms and is eating very well. She continues to fill out and will continue to become a more beautiful dog. We approximate her at 3 to 5 years old and currently (12/8/11) at 13 lbs.
Amazingly enough Malinda appears to be completely potty trained. Most dogs have accidents in a new home but she has been incredible. Her right eye is clouded behind the pupil and she has limited vision in it. Her left rear foot is a bit deformed and causes her to limp, especially in the cold and damp weather. We don't know if it was a birth defect or an injury.
Malinda gets along beautifully with her foster siblings. She has not be temperament tested with cats or children but appears to have a very mild personality. She loves to roll over and offer you her belly for rubs.

All dogs listed by Promised Land Dog Fosters have been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated and heart worm tested.
Because we work with several rescue organizations, adoption fees will be individual to each dog but will average $125.
