Rosie is a 6 month old p/b female Newfoundland. Her mother is an AKC registered black Newf and her father is an AKC registered brown. She was recently given a clean bill of health after a bout with demodex mange. As the pictures reflect; Rosie is improving by leaps and bounds.
Rosie received little care or attention during the first 5 months of her life and as a result she came into rescue with severe mange, various infections and terrified. Rosie has not looked back and improves a litt bit more each and every day. Her infections are cleared; skin is clearing to make way for the fabio-like coat of hair that she is sure to have. She no longer thinks the world is a scarey place and explores it with the curiosity of a normal puppy.
She is a sweet, loving girl who is eager to please and highly motivated by either treats or attention. She loves people of all shapes, sizes and ages. She currently lives with other dogs and gets along wonderfully, she plays nicely and is happy to share toys. She has had no exposure to cats while in foster care. She loves to play in water.....bowls. She enjoys meticulously emptying the toy basket of each and every toy so she can....chew on the basket. She is housebroken, crate trained, a good passenger and is learning basic obedience. Due to her age, there has been no attempt at free-roam. She is a puppy and one of her favorite pass-times is chewing, chewing, chewing.
Rosie is going to make some lucky family very happy for many years to come!
