My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Notes: Shep, Bernese/Shepherd mix, black and tan medium coat with white markings, 3-5 years old, neutered male, 90 pounds

Shep's photos do NOT do him justice - but they do capture the wonderful thing about this glorious dog - he just shines with love and good will. Shep gets along well with other dogs - but he truly does glow when he is around people. He will reward an adoptive home with loyalty and love.

Shep was clearly someone's beloved pet, and we know he'll shine in that environment. In every look, he appears to be telling us, "I don't belong here. Please give me a chance and I'll prove it."

Shep is what you would describe as a true rescue dog. Although not abused, he has had a rough time due to humans not taking proper care of him. Please read our home page to learn more about how Shep came to need a home. click here to go to our website

As a result, we don't have a lot of details about Shep and how he is in everyday situations. However, we do know that he is an excellent dog who has impressed us with eagerness to let us know that he's ready to love and be loved.
