My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sarge is a purebred German Shepherd. He's about 2 years old. He's a big boy, a little on the thin side right now, but filling out nicely. Sarge's owner was an older man who could no longer keep him.

Sarge needs a home where he can get plenty of exercise. He gets along with other dogs and has no problem with horses. Sarge does not like cats. He's never hurt one, but loves the chase they inspire.

Sarge has been around smaller children and has done great with them. However, due to his size & energy level, we prefer to place him in a home with children over 8 years old.

Sarge is currently learning some basic obedience commands such as sit, down, come, stay, wait, off, no & fetch. He's picking things up with flying colors.
