Boots is half elkhound. Her mom, Queenie, was dropped off at a pound a week before the pups were born. Mom is an elkhound and dad is unknown. Boots and her seven siblings were born on 2/6/11, Superbowl Sunday. Boots is spayed, is up to date on all shots, is heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, housetrained and weighs about 48 lbs. She is in a foster home and has attended training sessions with her foster family. Her adopter will be able to receive the same 8 week training session at the Trainers Academy in Troy, MI. Boots loves to be with people and she is also good with other dogs and children. Cats are an unknown. She isn't fond of car rides and tends to get carsick. She is a home body who would also be a great companion for an older person. A fenced yard is required.
