Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
To pursue the adoption of Shiny, you must first complete an Adoption Application which is located under the Online Forms tab at www.NCYorkieRescue.org.
Shiny is a very handsome yorkie male weighing eight pounds and is 1.5 years old. He is an owner surrender whose family was deployed overseas. They were devestated, and we promised we would find Shiny the perfect home! Shiney is a very smart and outgoing young man and very well behaved. He is loving and once he earns your trust will be a loyal companion. He learns very quickly and gets along well with other dogs. Shiny is house trained with a doggie door. He has been fully vetted, micro-chipped, all shots are up to date and is a very healthy little yorkie who has been very well cared for and loved! Adoption fee and donation does apply.
We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit rescue group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home. Please contact NCYorkieRescue@AOL.com for more information and be sure to visit www.NCYorkieRescue.org and fill out an adoption application, located on the top of the page - FORMS, to be eligible for adoption. Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued yorkie, and please always spay and neuter your pets!
