Please meet Madde! This baby is adorably cute with the most loving personality. Unfortunately horrible people butchered her ears and had already trained her to fight, but even after all of that she STILL LOVES HUMANS! go figure!! This is JUST A BABY! 13 weeks when we got her from the shelter due to be euthanized. She has made REMARKABLE strides in 2 short weeks. Her love for humans is so great, she will do ANYTHING to please. She walks well on a leash, sits at the door before going in or out, potties outside on command and her dog aggression is almost non-existent. I have been working with her from day 1 with other dogs of all ages and she is fine with adult dogs...male or female. She still plays a little too rough with puppies her size and smaller, and can also get a bit wound up. So we are continuing her training with younger dogs. She is VERY submissive with adults and is a real doll! Look at those eyes!!! How could you NOT love her??!! She is a beautiful rich chocolate brown... almost a mink color. When we got her she was horribly underweight, sick and full of worms. In two short weeks she is vibrant, loving, playful and a joy to be around. She is amazing... her name is Madde, which means 'mighty in battle'... and she has had a hard battle already in her VERY short life! A.W.O.L. Rescue is located on the outskirts of Dallas Texas. The dogs/puppies were pulled from shelters in surrounding areas that were due to be euthanized had we not taken them in. It is our mission to place all of our ‘rescues’ in sound, loving homes. There will be an adoption application which must be completed and approved before meeting our 'rescues' and prior to finalization of adoptions.Home visits and vet checks are done as well. All of A.W.O.L’s rescues are fully vetted before adoptions. All dogs/puppies will be current on shots, worming and will be spayed/neutered before going to their forever homes.
