Hi, my name is Tinkerbell. My foster mom calls me that because I am seven months old and only 25 pounds. I was rescued by animal control from a very abusive home, so I am somewhat frightened of humans at first. I am starting to trust them again because I am finding out that I really enjoy cuddling with my foster mom on the couch and in her bed. I absolutely love my fur brothers and sisters and they have taught me so much. I know how to use the dog door to go potty, but if you put me in a kennel, I get very scared and will escape, sometimes hurting myself. I MUST be crated with another dog if you are to crate me and only for short errands. I am learning that if I am left home alone, I should be a good girl and not touch what isn’t mine (although sometimes it is hard because everything is so interesting). I would really like to go to a home that has another dog(s), male or female, that I can run and play with. I require a stay at home adult to help me through this transpition period of learning and loving again. Even though my first home was not a safe home, I am not going to hold that against humans – I want to give love and be loved in return – will you be willing to do that??? STL MOv
